áramfigyelő is a live, Hungarian-language dashboard for the Hungarian electricity grid and the Danube. At a glance it shows whether electricity is cheap or expensive right now, where the power is coming from, what is happening at the Paks nuclear plant, and what the river is doing.
Mainly the general Hungarian public — not energy professionals. If you are wondering whether to run the washing machine now or tonight, or you are just curious how Paks is doing, this site is for you. Two other audiences get particular attention: people following Paks and the Danube specifically (block status, dose readings, water level), and hobbyists interested in how the grid works (generation mix, cross-border flows, frequency). It is not built for traders or analysts — they have their own terminals.
This site is built around one rule: a missing reading never becomes a zero, in a chart or in a total. When a source does not respond, we say so honestly — "nincs adat" (no data) — instead of inventing a number or presenting a stale value as current. A dashboard that makes up numbers is worse than no dashboard at all. When this actually happens — for example in August 2026, when the upstream Danube forecast source was unreachable for days because of a broken TLS certificate chain on their end — the widget stays empty rather than showing an old number.
áramfigyelő is an independent, one-person hobby project run by Blaschio (blaschio@gmail.com). This site is NOT an official channel or partner of MAVIR, ENTSO-E, the Hungarian water authority (OVF), or the Paks Nuclear Power Plant — we have no official relationship with any of these organisations. We only collect, process, and display their publicly available data, always with attribution (see the Data Sources page). For official, certified figures, always check the organisation's own channel.
An automated process running on Cloudflare Workers fetches data from every source every 15 minutes, normalises it, and saves it as a single pre-built snapshot. Your browser never talks to MAVIR, ENTSO-E, or any other upstream source directly — it only loads that snapshot, which is faster and more reliable than every visit independently trying to reach a dozen-plus external sources itself.
